Future Research

No data or statistics on TN are currently collated by the NHS, so it is at present it us down to us to collect information for possible future research work. 

If we are to believe a recent GP survey, out of 6.8 million patients, there are 8,268 patients with trigeminal neuralgia.  That is considerably more than we thought. 

Thankfully, it is still a rare condition but there are obviously a great many people who need our help.  It is only by joining our Association that you can help us to build up the strength, not only to offer support to others but to collate the statistical information on the treatments and outcomes of Trigeminal Neuralgia that we hope will provide the necessary data for future research into this debilitating condition.
