Trigeminal neuralgia is known as the most painful condition in the world, sometimes called “the suicide disease”. Unfortunately, Trigeminal neuralgia does not have a cure or even a main form of treatment. The people that suffer from trigeminal neuralgia are also limited in the ways that they deal with the pain. Regular painkillers and opioids cannot even touch the pain that is endured as it is so severe.

 

How would you see the worst pain in the world?

 

When you have Trigeminal Neuralgia, you cant! TN a hidden disability and cannot be seen or even touched.

how can you visualize the pain? The pain is visualized as electric shocks or even a burning sensation in the jaw or cheeks, the pain is sometimes confused with tooth pain or jaw ache, but on a much higher level. Although everyone has a trigeminal nerve, not everyone has trigeminal neuralgia due to the nerve sitting differently on the face.

The Face of Trigeminal Neuralgia is a Global Campaign to raise awareness for Trigeminal Neuralgia and raise much-needed funds to help suffers and aid research, this was thought to be the best way to show others the pain that sufferers face due to the different colours and 3d effect of the glass.

Not only is the glass a great way of showing the pain but it is a great visual representation of how it is not easy to get rid of, the other side of the face showed electric shocks, mainly because nerve pain is normally described as deep electric shocks or sharp jolts of electricity.
