Meet people who understand.
Living with trigeminal neuralgia or facial pain can be isolating. Our groups give you a place to talk, listen and connect with people who genuinely get it.

You should not have to do this alone.
Sometimes the most helpful thing is meeting someone who already understands the strange, difficult and very practical ways facial pain can affect everyday life.
Meet people who get it
Talk with people who understand the impact of facial pain without having to explain every detail from the beginning.
Stay connected
Groups can reduce isolation and give you a regular point of connection with the wider TNA community.
Share practical experience
Members can share lived experience and practical ideas. Groups do not replace medical advice from your clinical team.
RSGs help break isolation.
Facial pain can shrink a person’s world. It can affect work, social life, confidence and the simple feeling that somebody else understands. Regional Support Groups create regular human connection around that reality.
Reduce isolation
Regular contact with people who understand can help someone feel less alone and more connected to a community.
Build confidence
A supportive group gives people space to talk, listen, ask practical questions and feel believed without having to explain facial pain from the beginning every time.
Connect people to help
Groups can introduce members to wider TNA support, trusted information, events, webinars and other services when they need them.
More than a meeting.
RSGs extend support into local communities and online spaces through lived experience and volunteer-led connection. They help people stay engaged, find appropriate support and contribute their experience back into the charity’s wider patient voice. That makes them part of the support pathway, not an optional extra.
